A 12th-generation Californian born and raised in Vacaville, Johnny grew up fishing the rivers and lakes of Northern California, the streams of Alaska, and the shores of Baja, Mexico. With deep local knowledge and a passion for the sport, he specializes in bass fishing at Lake Berryessa and offers walk-and-wade trips on Putah Creek for trout. Johnny is also highly skilled in other notable waters, including the American River, Feather River, Sacramento River, Yuba River, and the coastal surf for perch.

For the past decade, Johnny has spent part of his summers in Alaska, refining his techniques for catching world-class steelhead and salmon. His time in Alaska reignited his love for fly fishing, inspiring him to turn his passion into a full-time career.
